Two tour buses suddenly pull up and disgorge a pack of noisy German tourists. Minutes after, a mother moose and her calf begin approaching across the meadow. It’s occasions like this that make me wonder what European tourists think of Canada. This bunch of Bavarians may well be under the mistaken impression that you can order up exotic wildlife here at will.
